• Hi Staff! First of all you guys rock for making such an awesome plug-in, it has made my life so much easier in developing the website for my company. THANK YOU 🙂

My question: I have 3 different forms I am using on my website. The Contact Form Database Plugin is amazing, however, how do I make certain forms accessible to certain user roles?

For example, I have a resume submission form that only the Human Resources department should be able to access. I have a generic contact form that only the Customer Service department can access. How do I make this happen?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

    Daniela

If you are talking about the input form, then it doesn’t have anything to do with CFDB. You would restrict the page that the form displays to those people. If you are talking about the data, then you can put a short code on a page and restrict access to that page.

Also, the CFDB Options page allows you to restrict who can see short code output, but it only uses standard roles (Admin, editor, contributor, subscriber).

If a person can write posts and use CFDB short codes, then there is no way to restrict him to only be able to see some of the data.
