Support » Plugin: Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress » Uselss if not purchased

  • You can’t do anything except for creating a form without a password field in the free version. To integrate any of the 3rd app or even to add a simple password field form you are required to purchase. I wasted an hour on this.

    Hi there,

I am sorry you feel this way. Please let me try to explain.

Password fields are forbidden on the free plan for security issues. We care very much about security, that of our users and that of our users’ users. We don’t want our forms to be used for phishing purposes. But, as the alert in our system indicates, if you contact support and have a discussion with them about why you need to use a password field for a legitimate purpose, we can in special cases lift the limitation.

Third party apps and other advanced features come with paid plans, as they do with most of our competitor plugins. The free plan still allows you to build a perfectly functional form.

Please contact support@captainform.com if you need a trial period for any of our paid plans.

    Best regards,
    The CaptainForm team

I have used both the free and paid versions of this form and they work perfectly. Compared to many other similar plugins I’ve tried, this one is really ggd and I highly recommend it.
Oh and the customer service is excellent!
