• This used to be a great plugin until someone decided they could make money from it. I don’t think you are going to be making much money from it though as it doesn’t work. It never updated a cached page, when I tried to disable it, it broke entirely and I had to restore my site from a backup. All of the features like pattern matching were removed. All in all, this thing is useless now and I will find a new caching plugin to use.

  • Why didn’t you try to contact the plugin’s author about this via the plugin’s dedicated sub-forum? A “review” without even attempting to contact support is pretty pointless.

@aninias I apologize for the rocky update. The plugin had not been updated in over two years and the first update since then did introduce a few problems, which were addressed immediately in subsequent releases. The latest version (v131206) contains many improvements and I invite you to give it a try.

I’m also sorry that you’re unhappy with the changes to the free version. We did move a few of the more advanced features to a Pro version, but all of the core features that most site owners will need in a caching plugin are still available in the free version of Quick Cache.

If you have feedback on features you’d like to see in the free version of Quick Cache, I would love to hear your thoughts and I invite you to open an issue on GitHub, where I’m tracking feature requests and bug reports.
