 * Step 1: Select import by uploading a file. The plugin shows the progress bar 
   and then a note that says that the file has been successfully uploaded.
 * Step 2: Click “Next”. Result: the page reloads without any change. No messages,
   no error reports – just exactly the same content as by the end of Step 1.
 * Step 3: No such thing. Stuck at Step 2.

 * I looked up your profile and it says you also gave the official WordPress Importer,
   with over 8,000,000 downloads, made by WordPress.org, a 1 star rating.
 * Clearly that plugin does not deserve a 1 star rating.

 * Thank you for finding time to respond.
 * Official or not, the number of downloads means nothing. Millions of people follow
   Kardashian rumours – does it make Kardashian rumours valuable?
 * More to the point, don’t you find it mildly infuriating that a WordPress installation
   needs a plugin for importing posts exported by another WordPress installation?
   Let alone the fact that this plugin requires very specific server settings. That
   about official Importer.
 * As for your plugin, I have no doubt that it made many people happy, and would
   make me happy under different circumstances. With the WP instance I am currently
   working on, I have no access to server files and admins are not going to cooperate.
   All I have is WP dashboard and server settings the way they are. And I cannot
   import native WordPress posts.
 * What I do comment on is, in fact, a bug, called “Lack of responsiveness” (in 
   UX sense, not in web design sense): it does not keep the user updated on the 
   state of the task. Is anything happening at all? Should I wait? How long? After
   how many minutes should I consider my operation a failure?
