My company builds an addon for Google Apps Gmail (and, soon, “regular” Gmail) that helps our users get more done by bringing frequently-needed information and actions from other business SaaS (like MailChimp, Shopify, etc) into Gmail.

For instance, our MailChimp integration allows our users to instantly see if the person that just sent them an email is on their mailing list, and if they aren’t, add them. Here is a 60-second demo of this functionality http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1oG8I8eE2g

I’m exploring interest in the WordPress community for a WordPress/Gmail integration. It might allow Gmail/WordPress users (with sufficient privileges) to manage WordPress site users from within Gmail – do things like view and change meta data, reset passwords, create new users, etc.

Is this interesting to anyone? Is there something I’m not understanding about WordPress that makes this type of integration not helpful? Are there any other WordPress/Gmail/Google Apps integrations that you wish existed?

    Thanks, Cooper

ps. If you are really interested in our current product, you’ll find it here http://wishery.com/install , but I’m not here to advertise, I’m here to learn.

I think comment management would be nifty. I get those email notifications all the time and leave them for later.

Yes, as a heavy gmail user, this would be interesting but for me, not interesting enough to pay for.
