    Hi @glorain,

Thank you for your feedback. I think you are referring to the autocorrect spelling functionality. There are mechanisms for how to manage it. First of all, you can disable it by default. You can do it as follows:

    1. Go to the settings page of the plugin itself. Select the checkbox > Enable WProofreader badge. Click Save to save changes. This will enable the additional navigation element (badge). It is the orange bubble that will float at the bottom right corner of the editable element. In this element (on hover), there will be an additional menu shown.
    2. On the badge select the gear icon “Settings”, a new floating dialog (panel) will be opened. On this panel you will see the option with the check box “Correct spelling automatically”. Uncheck it.

On the other hand, you can also undo the corrections. The autocorrected word is usually undefined with a dotted gray line. If you hover on this word, there will be a pop-up suggesting to “Revert to” the initial word. The undone replacement will be remembered during the browser session. After the page reload this will be reset.

Please note we are actively working on the improvements for this and other functionalities. So your feedback is very important for us and this is one of the ways how we can improve.

Please review our response and we hope you can reconsider your review.

@glorain, just a short update to what I wrote above. It appeared that the plugin was not updated to have this option with disabling the autocorrect functionality by default. However, there is an option to revert the correction.

We will fix the first in a week when our developer is back.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve just enabled the badge. There is a little bit more options and now I can turn it off if needed. It will be great to disable the auto correct in the next update.

    Hi @glorain,

We are happy to inform you that earlier today we released the updated version of the plugin that allows disabling the autocorrect feature as mentioned above. Please try it and provide your feedback.

Our team will be grateful if you reconsider your review based on the updates.

    Hi @glorain,

    Sorry for disturbing you again.

Did you have a chance to try the updated version of the plugin and disable autocorrect feature that caused the confusion about the product functionality?

If so, could you please reconsider your feedback so it shows the accurate information about the product functionality?

    Thank you,
