    Hi Pippin,

    I’m not sure how your em reply said it worked. Perhaps when you have a coffee moment, you can try again.

    1) Clicking on Shop > Easy n Private Cart

    2) Clicking on Green Button “$12.95 – Add to Cart” (gets me to “Checkout”)

    3) Need to type Discount Code >> There’s no place to enter their Discount Code.

    Neither work:
    1) If I click on the Blue “Save Cart” button ==>> a Weird screen appears with a weird URL (Not good)

    and by clicking on this unusual URL >> I Still am Not at a place to Enter my/their Discount Code

    AND there is a “Login” screen. This is Not EASY. (No one needs to Login to buy on my site…nor going thru WooCommerce.)

    AND when clicking on “Cart” it states “Your cart is currently empty.”

    This is horrible and certainly no one would buy with this going on. Does Not work.

    4) Bottom line, I have to start all over again by going to Woocommerce Cart/Product after all.

    After they go around & around in Circles, they will Not want to Start all over again at Shop/Product.

    Now I need to repost my directions on other online sites to ppl and that will delete their Positive Comments on my book.

    I’ll need to remove it and just have the Woocommerce Cart that works.

    I think perhaps there was a small misunderstanding. You first mentioned that the Save Cart functionality was not working, so that’s the feature that I tested. According to my test, everything with that worked fine. You’re now telling me that discount codes are not working. I’m more than happy to help track down that issue, just understand that I cannot help with an issue unless you tell me about the problem 🙂 Discount codes are cart saving are two very different features that are largely unrelated.

    Let’s try this again 🙂

    Discount Codes

    In order for the option to enter a discount code to show up, (here https://cloudup.com/cyXeBRELNWV), you need to have created at least one discount code. Can you confirm that you have at least one valid discount code in Downloads > Discount Codes?

    Save Cart

    The Save Cart functionality is not related to discount codes in any way. It is an option that lets a customer save the contents of their cart and then restore that same cart later on by visiting the URL that is shown.

    It sounds like this is not a piece of functionality you’re actually needing. For that reason, I’d recommend you simply disable it. You can do this by going to Downloads > Settings > Misc and disabling “Cart Saving”.

    Cart saving is not related to discount codes and you do not need it.

    I’m sorry that you’re struggling but we are here to help and are more than happy to assist you in getting the plugin to function as it was and how you’d like it to function. Just please allow us to help you before jumping to conclusions 🙂

    Hey Pippin,

    If you look at my Original Question (above) you’ll see that I Do mention Discount Codes. ***

    With a lil creativity I renamed my Shop link with Easy n Private and now don’t need to mess with my online sites.

    Anyway, I’ve uninstalled and so will now consider this Resolved.

    I’m set for now but perhaps in the future I will need EDD.

    Anyway, I had too many plugins.
