Used to work great in the past. Not working on WP v.4.9.8

Worked great on a couple sites where I installed it on older versions of WordPress. On a new install of version 4.9.8 the plugin does nothing therefore something might have changed in WordPress which is making this plugin no longer function due to the way it installs otherwise would make no sense why the same plugin works on installs where the only difference is the time (and WP version) at which install was performed.

Really too bad… I found an alternative for the time being which did the job called Simple Page Ordering (by Jake Goldman, 10up). I hope these issues will be fixed in future because it’s a good, simple and free plugin that in my opinion should come stock with WordPress.
