• This little plugin used to be brilliant. However, over the last 3 or 4 major updates it has gotten progressively worse.

I’ve never seen a plugin developer actually ruin the plugin this much with every update.

The two main issues are reliability and user-workflow. With every update (even the minor ones), something always seems to break. I run a super lean setup with 2 maybe 3 other plugins which are major (Elementor, JetEngine, and Rank Math – that’s it).

Another one is, the workflow. Before with Styled Lists, you used to be able to copy and paste from the native Gutenberg list to effectively ‘migrate’ to the new styled list widget. Nope. not anymore. In fact, the styled lists have basically become unusable. Will be removing ASAP.

Hope they sort it out for the sake of other users. I’ve had enough.

    Hi @dtrwebdev,

I am really sorry to hear that. It’s never our intention to make the plugin worse with the updates, the main purpose is to improve it.

We try to test as much as possible before the updates, to make sure nothing breaks. But it’s almost impossible to predict every case and scenarios.

In case we miss something, we rely on our users to let us know so that we can fix those. So, with every update, whatever feedback we get on the plugin or any specific issues, we always try to work on those.

About the styled list – the native list was changed in terms of code and structure. So for the Styled List to work with the native block, we had to change a lot of stuff.

If you check the changelog for last update, you will see that most of the changes were about fixing the Styled List.

You can still migrate native lists to Styled List with a single click. Check here.

If there are other specific issue you are facing, please share with us. We would love the opportunity to fix them.

    Kind regards.
