Used to be good, not since Google Maps has changed

Before I would have given this plugin a 5*. However since the need to connect the API key and it doesn’t seem to be possible. I’ve even tried installing another plugin to connect the API but this plugin still doesn’t recognise it. Now I have got all over my custom maps For Development Purposes Only. I’m really unimpressed as I purchased the premium but after contacting twice haven’t received any support in how to fix it.
