Have used it a bunch and have similar problems every time.

This time migration says successful but due to my past issues I check everything before editing and:

    1. The wp-config on source site and it’s fine
    2. The wp-config on the destination site shows the $table_prefix as the source site and when updated to the destination prefix, the destination site is still the original wordpress installation
    3. The source site wp-admin directs to the destination site

These problems have been common but the destination site being the original installation is new.

Am I missing a step? Entering something wrong in the setup? Please help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey,

Thank you for contacting us & I apologize for the delay.

I had a look at the website & the migration and can see that you were able to successfully migrate the website to a new server.

Are you still facing this problem on any other site that you’re migrating via our systems?

    Thanks,
    Aman Kedia

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, still a problem. I did it manually after it screwed up too many times.

So the way I do things is I keep all my property websites in the same dbase, so the login for each is the same, however the path and table prefixes are different.

When I transfer, it goes through the whole thing but no data is transferred. The only thing that I see at the end is the wp-config on the destination site changes the table prefix to the source prefix. When I update the prefix in the destination site, the site is the original installation, not the transferred destination.

The app used to work near perfect whereas I had to change the prefix at the end but all the data moved, now no data seems to move.

Thanks for your help! It worked well before and I’d love to keep using it.
