Use wordpress to edit small blocks of text

    I am working on setting up a site that is existing and converting it over to use WP more or less as a CMS. For most things they do this is ideal and has worked well.

    One place where I have an issue is a place where I only want say one single block of text, like a paragraph.

    I could do it as a category and just ask them to only make it so long but then I thought maybe someone on here knows a better more efficient way of doing it, or maybe a plugin that does just what I need.

    Any ideas or thoughts

    The block of text could be a Post.
    The block of text could be a Page.
    You could add a block of text into a Template file.
    You could use a Text Widget to display text.

    Thank you, it looks like the Text Widget is what I was looking for. I didn’t even know it existed. I appreciate your help.
