[Resolved] Use WordPress single pages on the site

  • Hello, I just wanted people’s suggestions and help.
I am working on my Church’s website and wandering if possible to have the a wordpress single page dotted around the site, so to have a news page using wordpress, also have the kids page elsewhere on the site using wordpress.
If possible, how will I go about doing this.
And if not, any better suggestions

  • Hi webcbcadmin! It sounds like you’re new to WordPress, and what I would suggest is taking a look at the difference between posts and pages:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages

In WordPress, you can write either posts or pages. When you’re writing a regular blog entry, you write a post. Posts automatically appear in reverse chronological order on your blog’s home page. Pages, on the other hand, are for content such as “About Me,” “Contact Me,” etc. Pages live outside of the normal blog chronology, and are often used to present information about yourself or your site that is somehow timeless — information that is always applicable. You can use Pages to organize and manage any amount of content.

If I misunderstood your question, please let me know so we can help further, thanks!

Yes you can use WordPress if you created those two sections as a sub-domain of your main website. You just need to install the wordpress on that subdomain (kids.yoursite.com).

    Thanks
Brad i think you were right I am new, and the difference between posts and pages were not known to me.
