Use with another plug-in

just a quick question.
I’m planning to use this plug-in to manage my archive (I have a lot of files):
http://codecanyon.net/item/file-manager/8999688The problem is that this file manager doesn’t have a download counter, but it looks like the plug-in uses the media library to store the files.
Do you think I could you use your plug-in to monitor the downloads?
