Hi, can you please consider to use the WordPress Comment blacklist that is available in WP Admin » Settings » Discussion » Comment Blacklist?

At the moment your plugin has it’s own blacklist, which means you have to maintain two of them. I think it’s more logical to use what’s already available in WordPress itself.

    Thanks
    JP

Site Reviews includes its own blacklist as there are sometimes cases when it is desirable to have a blacklist for reviews that is different from the one used for comments.

However, if you wish to use WordPress’ comments blacklist for reviews, you can easily do that like this: https://pastebin.com/A2Mag7pk

Thanks, should that go in functions.php?

What do you think of a future update to have a checkbox to choose between the comment or the plugins own blacklist.

Yes it goes in your active theme’s functions.php. You can also use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/.

I will consider adding this as a setting.

However, I hesitate to add extra settings that would only be used by a fraction of users. Also, I like that all the Site Reviews settings are in one place.
