this is gone over a bit in the manual which is a worthwhile read. But basically you’ll need to turn off Shortcode Requirement in Advanced Settings, this will make it so the styles and js for the slideshow are called on every page.

To make it so the js and css are called only on the pages you want them you can add [satellite display=off] on the parent pages you are adding all the advanced excerpts from.

Excerpt is such a weird word btw!!!

Argh. Turns out it’s the theme that’s breaking the code, but I can’t work out how – have done my best to bypass filters. JS is being called but the wheel keeps spinning. Am using theme: Cloudy Blue Sky. Any ideas where to start? Have got Premium Satellite. Great plugin, thanks.

I’ve got a whole bunch of updates coming in 1.4 that will most likely fix that problem. I’m going to have a basic version of it available for members that will have compatibility fixes and RESPONSIVE OH YEAH 🙂 available HOPEFULLY over the weekend.

But if you’re not up for becoming a member (totally cool btw) 1.4 should hopefully be out by the 15th of January

    added this to functions.php:

Now works beautifully on page and in excerpt form too.
