• Hi there, i am using the free version of this product for now. I need to make sure it is what i need before i buy the premium version. I have a fresh WP, Woocommerce and Storefront install. I have set up the dummy products for Woocommerce. I install your plugin, and i activate.

    1) Firstly, Does this work on variable products ONLY?(sorry for the stupid questions)

    2) I have a little confusion as to how the calendar and products are related. Each product has its own different price, but the calendar does not obey the product price. Soo instead, i have to set the calendars price per day($5 for example), and if the calendar is available on certain days or not. What this does is it allows the calendar to be booked..not the product.

This means that each product needs to have its own calendar attached to it. yes?

3)But now what if i am using a vendor plugin and a user uploads their product?(products would actually be a B&B/Hotel/House/etc.)Would the user be able to attach their own new calendar (set up with their own configuration) or would the admin have to link the calendar after the user uploads their ‘product’?

Thank you for any assistance. Excellent plugin by the way! Very well made!

I would test these theories(and many more) on my own, but i only have the free version which allows 1 calendar. I can not commit to buying yet, as i dont know if what i need and how i need it is possible with this plugin.

    4) My reservation numbers are different to my order number. This is very confusing for end users when they are looking for their reference number.

    For example:
Order #124 has Booking: Reservation123 attached.
Order #132 has Booking: Reservation131 attached.

Is there a way to fix this and make them equal?

    5) How Do i Cancel and order/booking? I have cancelled the order via woocommerce, but the calendar is still booked?

    Hello,

    1. Currently this is the only possibility.

    2. Yes each product need to have it’s own calendar. The prices are set in the calendar because different days can have different prices.

    3. You can allow users to create their own calendars.

4.This is because WooCommerce uses options both for Variations and Orders.

    5. We are working to make this possible.

As a conclusion, I don’t thing is it OK to use the Booking System with WooCommerce for a booking portal. There are some features missing.

    Thank you

Wow that is unfortunate! I was so close to purchasing the premium module. I feel that you should warn your customers of this flaw. Its important that we know what we are getting, or not getting.

I really hope that somehow this can be mended. Those are vital features/functions for ANY booking system. A person needs to have correct reference numbers and must be able to cancel an order, its the basic necessary features required.

Will there be an update/fix soon? Would it be possible for me to hire someone to correct your plugin and add those vital features? Could you recommend someone specifically?

    Hello,

I am sorry for the late reply.

I can’t estimate when an update will be available.
You can modify the plugin code.

    Thank you.

Is there any update for this? I’m concerned about number 5 being to cancel booking. Also we’re dropping the woocommerce integration and just use wp pages. will a customer still be able to cancel?

Number 5 is fixed, when an order is cancelled the calendar is updated.
Admin can cancel reservations from the Reservations area.

    Thank you.
