Use post instead Place custom type

    I think the best is to build another plugin, because the place is the custom post type for bp-checkins. I mean, the name, description, and postmetas are part of the place.

    You can add a link to a place in a post, but to attach a place to a post, then you need to – build something with postmetas
    – or post-format
    – or use a bp-checkins place like an embed code thanks to a shortcode.

    In the last one, the place needs to be created first. But it’s the easiest way to attach a place to a post with the plugin.
