    Hello, is it possible to use only the e-mail adress for login? Or to create a username that is identical to the e-mail adress?

    Kind regards!

    Hi,

    Are you sure that you mean the login?
    Since the WP about 5.3 the users can use both email/username for the login.

    Hey there,
    Yes, I mean the login.

    I would like the users to use only their e-mail adress to login to the page.

    Is it possible?

    It’s hard to restrict that on the server side.

    But you can:
    1. Change all labels from the “Username” to “Email” & error messages.
    2. Put the following Js

    jQuery(“.lrm-form[data-action=’login’]”).find(“input[name=’username’]”).attr(“type”, “email”);

    to add the browser validation

    But this probably will not work in the Safari browser.

    I thank you very much for the response.

    Will make some tests here.

    Sincerely.
