• I know that WordPress uses a templating structure.

However I have a website at http://www.sapphiresolutionsltd.com/ which uses the SMARTY Templating engine for display and organization. (If you visit this site you can see what I am refering to as I talk about it.)

Each section is it’s own .TPL file. The primary content of each page is in the larger section on the left. The secondary content or advertisements are in the smaller section on the right (with a PAETEC banner in it at this time.)

I would like my primary blog-site to show up in the larger content section on it’s own page. However, I would like the recent blog entries to show up in the smaller section above the advertisement banner.

How can I make this happen?

  • Still wondering about this myself.

apparently this isn’t an issue anyone else is concerned with.

However, I’m guessing this would require an API of some sort which would insert the WordPress functionality into a specific .TPL file.
