    Hi Josh,

That approach will not work for WP Knowledgebase.

The Knowledgebase consists of more than just one bit of content – it’s multiple pages, posts, widgets and other functionality. It would sort of be like trying to place WooCommerce into a page using shortcode alone.

For that reason (and like other complex multipage plugins like Woo for example) we have provided a full templating system which allows to you to do advanced implementations and customise where and how WP Knowledgebase displays. Please examine the documentation and FAQs for more info on this. You’ll find all the templates inside the /template folder of the plugin.

Feel free to post back here if you require further explanation or assistance.

    Thanks,
    Maeve

    Hi Maeve,

Thanks for your response. I’ll spend some time exploring the template code and try to understand how it works. As I’m new to WordPress, Theming and this sort of thing, there’s a lot to get my head around. Wish me luck!

    Thanks in advance,

    Josh
