use of [shared_files file_id=409]

    when i used the [shared_files file_id=409] in the shortcode i get the message:

    This feature is available in the Pro version.You can use the shortcodes [shared_files] and [shared_files_simple].More info on shortcodes at sharedfilespro.com.

    this seems strange an inconsistent. i am allowed to use this shortcode in the free version. what am i doing wrong?

    Hi,

    That is true, the shortcode [shared_files file_id=409] is a feature of the pro version and you can use the shortcodes [shared_files] and [shared_files_simple] in the free version. There’s detailed explanations regarding the shortcodes on the Shortcodes page under Shared Files in the WP admin area.

    And there are a couple of parameters you can use in the free version, but file_id is not one of them. These are listed on the Shortcodes page.
