  • Resolved Wolv

I am new to using multisite so here is my question.
I have a theme that I am customizing for different types of clients.
Now I have my my main address of course but then I want to run 3 seperate live demos of the same theme but each demo has different plugins and different customization etc.
I also want the demo addresses to read like: or
Now would multisite be best suited for this or is there a better way of doing this.

  • Yes, if content o that blogs is different, you can use multisite solution.

Sure, you could use WordPress multisite but it wouldn’t make things significantly easier to manage. If you want to customize the theme 3x you will need the original theme plus 3 child themes.

Would it be better to just install WordPress 3 more times or multisites the better option?

If you aren’t too familiar with WordPress then, yes, it would probably be easier to have three separate installations. If your host has 1 click installation all you have to do is create the three subdomains and then install WordPress. Done.

    ok thanks for the responses.
I’ll probably just stick to installing wordpress multiple times since as you said it will not be significantly easier with multisites.
