Long story short, I’d like to be able to use the Media Library thickbox (that you see when you are adding media to posts) outside wordpress. I have created some artist collaboration software that runs alongside wordpress. They already use the same login (so once logged into one, you are logged into both).
My question is this: can anyone point me in the right direction to extract the media library popup? I figure the best way to do it is to create a page that is loaded in an iframe site-wide. Inside that script, I can boostrap wp-load and use whatever functions I need. I’m just not sure when files are really used to generate the Media Library. PS: I’m not talking about the Media Manager that is a menupage under admin. I mean the popup media manager that is used to embed, upload, and attach media to posts and pages.
Thanks a lot!
