    Hello,

I am very new to self-hosted WordPress. I have chosen Sela, but is there any way I can use my own header image instead of the default text? My logo is within my site name so I cannot upload the logo and title separately. Is there a way to do it?

    Thanks for the help 🙂

  • Hi there!

If you navigate to Appearance > Customize in your admin area, you’ll find the option of upload a Header Image.

If you activate Jetpack, then you will be able to access the “Site Title, Tagline, and Logo” panel in the Customizer. You can then uncheck the option to “Display Site Title and Tagline” and upload your logo from there.

Let me know if those steps help out or if you have any further questions. I’ll be happy to help in any way I can.

Oh, I never realised this was so easy! Now it’ll be easier for me to get my site to look the way I want it to.

Thank you so, so much! 🙂

You’re most welcome! We’re right here if any extra questions come up too.
