Use FullCalendar to schedule Events in admin

I’d like to be able to drag-and-drop an Event around a calendar to change that Event’s start and end times. Ideally this is on a new admin page I’d create.

Has anyone attempted anything like this? We assume it’d be some work but wanted to know if there’s any reason something like this would not work when using the Events Manager and WP FullCalendar plugins.
