# Use from Localhost and Web

 * Hello, I’m a novice web user. I am setting up a WordPress site as a personal 
   journal that I can write from home and from anywhere else.
 * I setup WordPress at home on a computer running XAMPP. It works great, except
   that when I try to connect from another computer on my LAN, or from the web, 
   the site has no styling or images. I gather this is because this is due to site
   setup ([similar issue](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-not-visible-on-external-browser)).
 * Is there a way to be able to properly show the site styles and imagery, from 
   the localhost, a LAN address, and an external webaddress at the same time?
