Use Export Module Calendar Buttons on Shortcode List Skin

Hello,
I have managed to override/customize the shortcode list view skin and the single event template already, using your documentation. I currently have the shortcode set to trigger a modal for the event details. The problem is that the only content that our users need from that modal is the export modules’ Google and iCal add to calandar buttons. To improve UX we would much rather display those buttons in the shortcode list skin to improve UX. I have succeeded in displaying the buttons and more importantly, in getting the Google cal button to work within the list view skin, but I cannot get the iCal button to work — it does not get the respective event ical id. Could you please provide some documentation or suggestions on how to integrate those export module buttons with the list view skin? Thanks!
