We have the rule set to Product Available for selected countries – Canada, Mexico, United States (US). But a customer in the US says he’s unable to make a purchase. I believe he just sees “Sorry, this product is not available to purchase in your country.” and there’s no add to cart button available for him to place an order. See images below.

We checked the page at our end, cleared cache, used incognito tab but the page automatically restricts purchase.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @snt24,

Could you please enable the debug toolbar and test the restriction rule from the frontend using the CBR country widget on the admin header toolbar? Simply navigate to a restricted product page, select the US country from the widget, and check if the restriction is applied to that product. If the issue persists, please inform me.

    Thank you,
    Kuldip

When I do that, it works. The Add to Cart button appears, so an order can be placed. So when a US customer claims the page won’t let him order, what is causing this and what advice can we give him?

    Hello @snt24,

Could you please enable the force geolocation option and test the restriction rule from the frontend on guest window? Simply navigate to a restricted product page from US country and check if the restriction is applied to that product. If the issue persists, please inform me.

    Thank you,
    Kuldip

With the force geolocation option now turned on, it seems the Add to cart button is showing up when the page is viewed in the US. Why does the app not work when the geolocation option is disabled?

    Hi @snt24,

If you’ve disabled the geolocation option, the customer’s country will default to the shipping country. It’s possible the Default customer location isn’t set to the shop country/region in the general options under WooCommerce settings.

    Thanks,
    Kuldip
