URL/URI changed, now can’t login

    Not positive which version of WP involved as I am updating for a friend’s account. Tried to change the address of the blog and moved the files to a new directory. Everything should have been fine except the hosting was taking time to respond, so I ignorantly added the extension “index.php” to the addresses to see if that would allow the page to work, not foreseeing the danger…. Obviously this became a problem and now I can’t access the dashboard or any administrative areas to return it back to the normal address. The blog displays but in basic HTML–it can’t seem to access its other directories. Is there any way to salvage this situation?

    anyone? this is kind of an emergency… entire blog now doesn’t work.

    I wish I could help. You might have to contact the web host and have them do it from their side?
