[resolved] URL's to CSV export and printable view inside an events list (4 posts)

    Hi Franky,

I formatted an events list that includes some information about the remaining seats:

    [events_list category=2 format="

      #_EVENTNAME, #_{l j F Y}, #_AVAILABLESPACES nog plaatsen. ID #_EVENTID

    That works fine.

Now I want to ad links inside the list to the CSV export (and Printable Views) of the events:

    [events_list category=2 format="

      #_EVENTNAME, #_{l j F Y}, #_RESERVEDSPACES plaatsen gereserveerd, nog #_AVAILABLESPACES beschikbaar.CSV export

But this produces a "default" eventlist of this category (with links to the events and registration form and) without info called by the placeholders and without the link to the CSV export.

In http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=25 tells I see it's posible to use placeholders inside URL's (by adding the URL escape code), but is it also posible to add URL's inside the EME shortcodes? Do they need to be escaped in some other way, maybe?

Or can the CSV export and Printable View be called in another way, maybe using special placeholders?

It should work, but you have to make sure that the double quotes are only used on the outside part:

    [events_list category=2 format=" .... "]

Replace .... with whatever html you want, as long as the quotes of the format-option are not terminated. So, this is bad:
    [events_list category=2 format=" extra "text" "]
    and this is good:
    [events_list category=2 format=" extra 'text' "]

Probably your html code for the link didn't do this correctly.
Also: normally the CSV export and print preview are indeed only accessible from the backend. I might add placeholders for them, please make a feature request at http://www.e-dynamics.be/bbpress

    Never mind,
Just found out I had to replace the double qoutes inside the html linl tags by single qoutes to make it work.
I guess to distinguish them from the double qoutes used in the format=".." arguement...
