URL’s have stopped working in posts?

    Hi Greg,

    Has wpadverts disabled url’s in posts? I just noticed to day that when I insert a complete url, they no longer link in posts. I also notice that the Auto Affiliate Plugin no longer links in wpadverts.

    Has something changed?

    We have not made any changes to the descriptions, you should still be able to use links inside the description.

    I am checking on the demo site right now and the links in the description seem to be working fine there?

    Thanks Greg, Do they auto link? Or do you have to html them? I’ve tried an autolink urls plugin and it doesn’t work.

    We do not have a feature which would automatically turn an URL in the description into an URL.

    You need to manually turn the text into link using a link button in the tinyMCE editor.

    The autolink plugin most likely executes by applying itself to the_content filter. To run it for Adverts description as well you would need to ask the autolink plugin author how to apply the autolink functionality to adverts_the_content filter as well.
