  • Hello Nickc110,

There’s probably a more…proper way to do it, but I do have a workaround for you if you’d like:

    Create us page, publish
Create pages A, B & C, setting the parent page to us
Go back to us page and set it as private (needs to be done after setting the parent page as private pages don’t appear to show in the drop down list)

That should make it so that your main urls work fine but if anyone other than an admin goes to mydomain.com/us it will just show a 404/page cannot be found.

Let me know if that helps,
    Sage

    Hi Sage,

    Thank you for the reply.

You solution works but when someone updates/changes the sub page content it is no longer that pages parent which would be problematic for the client.

    Thanks

    Hey Nickc110,

Ah, that’s no good. With that the case my workaround 2.0 would be to use a plugin like this https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/ To redirect the parent page either to a 404 or even one of the child pages if you prefer.

Sorry I don’t have a more direct solution,
    Sage
