    Hi

Thanks for taking over the development of this plugin πŸ™‚

I have some issues with links in content made with page builders like elementor.
Broken links are crawled and show up in the broken link list, but if I change the URL directly in the plugin, following happens:
    – the plugin noticed the new link as correct and changes the status to “200”
    – but the link on the page does not change.

I was able to reproduce this on an empty site with elementor.

Is this a bug or a limitation of the plugin?
I didn’t find any information about this on the web.

    Thanks
    Chris

  • The same thing happens to me, it detects the broken urls and when changing them directly from the plugin it stays in “Updating”.

And that’s because the link changes within the article but stays eternally in updating, one picture of the problem—> https://ibb.co/5Y9CwVb

    Hello @chrisg84ch

    I trust you’re doing well!

I’ve tested Bricken Link Checker with the Elemenotr plugin and could replicate this issue. I’m afraid this is a bug and I have reported it to our developers.

Thank you for letting us know about it!

    Cheers,

    Hello @elevas33,

Thank you for posting in this post,

This issue looks like it could be partially related to the initially reported on this thread, but it not the same. If the Updating status is stuck, it looks like there is a conflict with another plugin.

To find which plugin is causing this, please run a test for a conflict with another plugin, deactivate all plugins, besides Broken Link Checker and try to edit and update any links.

If all is well, start activating one plugin at a time, till the issue will be back.

If the isuse still persist, per WordPress forum regulations, please create a new thread and describe the issue you have.

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

Ok I will take it into account however I haven’t added any new plugin since the last update of broken link checker
