URL rewriting is not working in window10

For the plug-in to work properly, the built-in “pretty permalinks” system must work correctly. Is the IIS URL Rewrite module enabled on your live server? Could you also check whether you are able to access the subpages when the plugin is deactivated?

For the reference, please also send me the screenshot with the native/original URL displayed on “Edit page” screen + the correct page displayed is accessed via that URL (when the plugin is deactivated). The one you sent https://prnt.sc/UR3A8El8XJap shows “Permalink Manager” button which means that the plugin was turned on.

Thanks! Now, I see where the problem is. The plugin uses $_SERVER[‘REQUEST_URI’] variable in order to parse the requested URL and compare it with the saved custom permalinks.

Theoretically WordPress should still fix it using wp_fix_server_vars()

but for some reason it does not work on your website. Could you check if disabling auto_globals_jit in PHP.ini fixes the problem?

Ok, it might be difficult to pinpoint this specific issue, as it occurs only in local environment and I am not able to reproduce it.

Basically, the problem is that the $request_url is not validated as a correct URL in this line (#94):

Could you try to debug the value of $request_url and $http_host inside this piece of code?

I am happy to help. I checked the URL in the sandbox and it looks like the filter_var() function does not validate the host name including the underscore:

To allow domains with underscores, I will replace:

with:

if ( parse_url( $request_url, PHP_URL_HOST ) ) {
