There are a number of options:
- Domain masking: the whole site shows mno.com and does not show the actual folder after the domain
- Domain redirection: when anyone types in abc.com, they are redirected to mno.com
- Page-by-page redirection: you can set up 301 redirects so that each old post from abc.com redirects to the new post at mno.com
- If the two domains are both hosted under the same account, you have posts from abc.com/page1 also appear at mno.com/page1
- Which one of those you end up doing depends upon what exactly you’re trying to accomplish.
I am not sure what you want but my site is at http://www.blogofthetown.com/blog/realtycolorado and I want it to look like http://www.realtycolorado.com. When I go to the home search page I want the address bar to say http://www.realtycolorado.com/homesearch. How do I make this happen?
I appreciate your suggestions.
Dave
Unfortunately the solution says “This process is not applicable to and does not work if you have enabled MultiSite.” I have Multisite enabled and am using it.
Do you have any ideas?
I really appreciate your help.
