Support » Plugin: Awesome Support - WordPress HelpDesk & Support Plugin » URL parameter to hidden custom field

    Hi,

    Thanks for the excellent plugin!

I’m trying to use a url ?param=xyz and pass it to my custom field.

I’d like this to happen without user intervention, so that my custom field automatically gets the value of my url parameter. Ideally, the user won’t see the field and won’t be able to edit it.

I can already get the url parameter inside “submission.php” and my custom field is also working (using the plugin).

    Any help is appreciated!

Pre-populating (custom) fields will be supported by default in version 3.2 (coming soon), but hiding the fields is not possible. What I would suggest is to do this using CSS.

    Merci Julien pour la réponse

Savez-vous combien de temps d’ici la version 3.2? On lance bientôt un nouveau site et on espère pouvoir se servir de Awesome Support.

Edit (translation): Thanks Julien for the answer

Do you know how long before version 3.2? We’re about to launch a new website and we hope we get to use Awesome Support

3.2 should be available in the upcoming weeks (possibly newt week). You can see the progress here: https://github.com/ThemeAvenue/Awesome-Support/milestones

PS: I keep the conversation in English so that other users can follow 😉
