    Hi,

I’m new to wp and i’m currently having an issue with the URL’s on my site. For some reason the address doesent change when i navigate throughout the site e.g
    http://www.textrepublic.com/site
this address appears no matter what page on the site i am on.
Theres no permalink showing at all?

Any Ideas whats causing this?.. Thanks in advance

ps i’m using a custom theme.

If anyone has any idea of what this problem is please help…

I’ve been singing WP praises to everyone all week,
“Best CMS i’ve ever come across”

But I’m finding it really hard to find a resolution to this this issue and I’m tearing my hair out!!!

    d1073800.blackknight.com
    is where the links point
so, do you have some kind of masking/redirection going on?
hard for wordpress to work under these circumstances

    Hi,

didn’t realise this was the case where should these links be pointing?

to whatever is in the url fields in
    admin – Settings
    http://www.textrepublic.com/site

Somehow i managed to seriously mess this up, for some reason frame forwarding was set up on my hosting. Without thinking i went to change URLs in admin – Settings.. i changed them to: http://www.textrepublic.com/site

when it crashed i tried to change it back to:
    d1073800.blackknight.com

but the wordpress files obviously cant be located anymore?!

Oh *sigh* i don’t know what to do..

    Hi

New to wordpress too and having the same problem as above. The URL is fixed and won’t change for each page. I dont have a problem with the default permalink I just would like to be able to put an internal link within the site and cannot do so as the URL never changes – also if you use the default permalink it brings up a page without the theme applied so looks pretty bad.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks
