URL folder problems (7 posts)

I have a a couple of websites built under WordPress multisite. Something seems to have gone wrong. All my URLs are wrong. Some are referring to the subfolder twice (/sms/sms/), on one of the sites the links are refering to the domain name as a subfolder /sms/www.mywebsite.com.au/whatever. If I manually remove the wrong folder all the pages work fine. Short of disabling all my addins can anyone advise me of a fix.

Plugins are disabled, but still no joy.

  3. Where is WP installed? In /sms/ ?

    What's in your .htaccess?

    Yes, WP installed in /sms/.

    htaccess is as follows:
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /sms/
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    # uploaded files
    RewriteRule ^files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$1 [L]

    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
    RewriteRule ^wp-admin$ wp-admin/ [R=301,L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule ^(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $1 [L]
    RewriteRule ^(.*\.php)$ $1 [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]

  5. Huh... what are the Multisite lines in your wp-config?

Sorry, I can see the wp-config, but I haven't hand coded any of it, so I don't know.

  7. Yes you did :) You HAD to or none of Multisite will work. At all.

Now if you're trying to tell me you used a PLUGIN to edit the wp-config.php file, then that's probably the problem.
