 * I am looking for a way to use the same form for multiple pages and use the URL
   field to pull the current page for the value.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 * The form does send the URL it was submitted on with the Lead Submission to SalesForce.
 * So… if that’s not what you want, I’m not sure what you’re asking.

 * If I setup URL as a form field and add a value of “[http://xyz.com/contact&#8221](http://xyz.com/contact&#8221);
   then it will show up as the web page within salesforce. I am looking for a way
   to make the field accept a variable so that we can use the same form for more
   than one page and still know what page they submitted it from. The site is going
   to have a large number of pages and I would hate to have to create 60+ forms
   when I can have one that uses a variable.

 * Bottom of the form settings page:
 * **Lead Source to display in Salesforce.com, use %URL% to include the URL of the
   page containing the form**

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for this, helped me.
 * However, is it true that the lead source field has a character limit of 40? Can
   this be changed to show longer URLs?
 * Thanks

 * No idea. Sounds like a question for SalesForce support 😉

 * The 40 character limit is a hard limit that Salesforce has set, and it can’t
   be changed by anyone. You’ll have to abbreviate your Lead Source.

 * After adding “[http://&#8221](http://&#8221); to our domain, we are at 35 characters.
   Anyone using pretty permalinks for SEO will also have issues with this method
   if they want to use the same form on multiple pages (we do it with a widget).
 * Any way the plug-in can be modified so users can create a form field within Salesforce,
   designate it as hidden in the plug-in and set the value to %URL%?
