URL Errors: Links not working: Pages not working

    Hi there, this is my first time using Word Press to run my website, i’ve built and created a Word Press one and am most impressed, however i’ve hit a stumbling block.

    My domain is http://www.amybubeartherapies.co.uk, this directs me quite nicely to my homepage. However whenever i try to click any of my links to my created pages, such as http://www.amybubearhterapies.co.uk/about, i get an error message about a redirect problem.

    I should add at this point, my web host were the ones who installed Word Press for me.

    Obviously when i create my page, it automatically uses my http://www.amybubeartherapies.co.uk domain, and adds the /*your created page name.

    This is all great, just a shame i can’t get them to work 🙁

    I seem to think i know the route cause of my problem, it’s to do with a temporary domain i was given whilst they set-up my hosting, it is this.

    http://amybubeartherapies.co.uk.1177soon2b.co.uk/

    i’ve checked, my wordpress database appears to have been installed correctly.

    I’ve had to change my domain forwarding on http://www.amybubeartherapies.co.uk with my domain provider though, to forward to http://amybubeartherapies.co.uk.1177soon2b.co.uk/ even to show my homepage.

    I’m guessing i have to change something within the wordpress installation database, but can’t for the life of me think what and hope some help is forthcoming.

    First, ask your hosts to remove any redirections that they set up for you. Then see Changing_The_Site_URL..

    ok great, all redirections have been removed (the only one i could see was with my domain name provider, it was redirecting to http://www.amybubeartherapies.co.uk for some reason. I’ll follow the above and see if i can get it to work.x

    ok all forwarded has been removed, now my site doesn’t even load hehe. Hopefully by doing the Changing_the_site_url tips it’ll get back online 😉 x

    i’ve done all that the topic said, and now http://www.amybubeartherapies.co.uk simply doesn’t work, now the most bizzare bit, if i go to…

    http://amybubeartherapies.co.uk.1177soon2b.co.uk

    which was, supposedly, the old temp address whilst DNS Propogation took place, it actually still seems to be displaying all my Word Press content, if not a little skewed because of the lack of a template (which i’m now, i’m guessing, pointing at a different location) so bizzare.

    It seems to be working now. Remember that it can take a while for DNS changes to kick in.
