• I have a problem with my WordPress site that I never had before. I haven’t changed anything to it, and I’ve updated everything to run with the most current stuff. I am running WordPress 3.9.1 with the Mystile theme.

When I put in my website URL (see below), it goes straight to the “Products” Page, when it is supposed to open to the “About” page. Also, when I go to my “products” page, and click on a product to open, it does not open. The computer thinks, and then stays on the same page.

I can’t even begin to think what might have caused this, since all I have done since it was working perfectly last time was edit the variables in a product.

You can visit the site at http://www.CreateIndestructibleWealthBootcamp.com to check it out.

    Help!!

  • Hello alynnhan,
Sounds like you have Front page displays set to a static page.

Go to YourDomain.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php or Settings > Reading and set it to “Your Latest Posts” or to a specific page that you want to be on your home page.

For the products, it does the same for me. When you mouse-over the product, you can see that there is a unique URL but it is redirecting.

But now I’ve realized that all the menu links are doing the same thing.
Are you using a plugin for the products? If so try looking in that plugin support page to see if others are having the same issue.

Try the above solution and see if that changes anything.

    Hi Karissa,

Thanks for the tips. I found the problem plugin–WooCommerce. I deactivated it and deleted it and reinstalled it. When I deactivated it, my pages were working like normal except I still couldn’t click on a product and go to the specific product.

Now my pages are all deleted and it shows a Error 404 message on each menu page when I click on each page.

Not sure what I did to make that happen!
