# URL containing “/ GET http://… “?

 * Hi,
 * my server log shows some hits containing a valid url with an additional “/++get
   +http://….” at the end every now and then.
 * Does anyone know what that means? Tried the Google search, but didn’t know how
   to mask the “+” sign and therefore found no answer ’cause google thought “+” 
   means “and”. 🙂
 * I am trying hard to fight spam at the moment and to block certain IPs that make
   irrelevant requests or requests that don’t make sense.

 * Well, since no one seems to know the answer, I have now blocked those requests
   with ModRewrite and hope I do not block important ones.
