# URL breaks post output?

 * This one is odd. I have a post with a rather long URL to a product on a different
   website. The post in question is rather old (almost 2 years ago) so I don’t know
   what version of WP I was running at the time. At the time I had no issue with
   the post displaying. Currently the post content does not display unless I remove
   the URL to the product.
 * Everything appears to be encoded properly with the URL so I’m hoping someone 
   can shed some light on this issue.
 * If it’s of any use, here’s the page:
    `http://ivany.org/noma-outdoor-solar-led-
   lights/` and here’s the link that breaks the page (which I am removing now so
   the content comes back). `http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/product_detail.jsp?

 * Try running that url through a url shortener like bit.ly and using the shortened
   URL as your link

 * Yeah, I ended up doing that but I’m trying to understand why it’s broken now 
   and it wasn’t before.

 * the WP editor sometimes mangles code that’s not your typical blogging code. Its
   just part of using WP. One learns to work around certain things.
