You do not have sufficient!!!

    Hello, it is very important to help, because it is an ecommerce and I’ve tried everything. So thanks in advance.

    The following happened to me suddenly, without installing any new plugin.

    I can not access my control panel wordpress, tells me:
    You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page

    I changed name plugins folder, renaming and deleting even plugins.
    I have found that are not bad the prefix in the phpadmin
    The password and username is correct.
    It’s not a permissions problem.

    I totally desperate, someone gives me another option to fix it.

    Lo siguiente me pasó de repente, sin instalar ningún plugin nuevo.

    No puedo acceder al panel de control de mi wordpress, me dice:
    No tienes suficientes permisos para acceder a esta página

    He cambiado nombre carpeta plugins, renombrado plugins y borrado incluso.
    He comprobado que no estén mal los prefijo en el phpadmin
    La contraseña y nombre de usuario esta correcta.
    No es un problema de permisos.

    Estoy totalmente desesperado, alguien me da alguna otra opción para solucionarlo.

    Hello sequerim3,

    Just so we can know more about what’s happening at your site, I am guessing you can currently go to and see its homepage, internal posts, and pages. But, when you add /wp-admin to your homepage URL then you get the infamous “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” error message, correct? If so, here’s one possible help thread that might end up helping you as well:

    P.S., I am curious. What happens when you add /wp-login.php to your homepage URL as opposed to /wp-admin?

    P.P.S., And besides getting rid of all of your plugins, have you also switched back to the default theme (just remove all other themes from the theme folder) as well as made sure any WordPress core hacks by you have been undone? The key here is to get WordPress as box stock as possible thus bettering your chances of logging in.

    Oh, and how do you know your issue isn’t a permissions issue (see http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions just in case)? Can you think of anything that was done to your site before it exhibited this new behavior? Have you talked with your web hosting agency to see if they can shed any new light on what could have changed between you being able to log in to your site and now getting the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” error message?
