• Hi,

Ever since I’ve updated to version 4.2.2, I am not able to update my company pages anymore, not even my header and footer menus.

When I open the page edit, make changes, click update, it simply brings me to the “posts” page (which I have no posts currently). When I go back to check on my page, the changes was not made. Same goes for my menus, when I make changes on my menu and click save, the changes were reverted.

Is this a cache issue? or is it a bug with the update?

  • Hi,

    Please try following suggestions:

    1) Deactivate all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    2) If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    3) Flush any caching plugins you might be running as well as server and/or browser caches.

Please refer following codex where same issue has been discussed, I hope that will help you.

    Hi,

I have tried deactivated all plugins and clear caches but it did not work. I did not switch to the default theme as I’m afraid I may not be able to revert it back.

My problems are the same as the one in the topic link, which I too suspect it has got to do with the php files, but I could not locate the “php.ini” file as mentioned the topic thread.
