    Hi I need urgent help.
    I urgently need a small change to a post (here is the post).

    I understand you have a policy on this, and I am -extremely- sorry to cause an inconvenience, but I do urgently need one small edit to that thread. The info is at the thread above too, but it is just a case of replacing one real url at the top of the thread, with ‘mywebsite.com/’.

    Unfortunately it has already been indexed by Google, please can someone contact me as soon as is conveniently possible so I can explain why this is so urgent and why it meets with the policy.

    I’m sorry, but that’s only done in these forums for an extreme case.

    Why don’t you just move it to a password protected subdomain with a splash page replacing the main URL, until you are ready for it to be indexed?

    Hi thanks so much for getting back to me – but that isn’t the issue, could you provide me with a means to share the details privately so I can explain? It’s only a minor adjustment but my persistence is due to the extreme importance – is there a telephone number I can call on to share the information? I would be very grateful for any help at all you can give me to direct me to the correct person to manage this.
