    FYI. This UPS plugin Version: 1.19.0, when used with iThemes Security Pro breaks both this Plugin as well as your USPS plugin Version 1.2.2.

    When iThemes Security Pro is active no matter what the settings are, and both your UPS and USPS plugins are active, both your plugins receive an API connection status of Internal Server Error.

    Likewise I am unable to connect to our site from our MainWP central WordPress manager.

    When I disable JUST your UPS plugin and leave iThemes and your USPS plugins active, everything works fine, the USPS API status goes green and I am likewise able to connect to the site from our MainWP manager.

    If I disable just iThemes Security Pro and leave BOTH your USPS and UPS plugins enabled, both your plugins work fine and have no API connection issues.

    We are unwilling to do without iThemes Security Pro. Do you have the desire to try and work with us to find a fix or shall we look elsewhere for shipping rate solutions? Please advise.

    Hi,

    if there is an internal server error, there should be something in the server logs. Can you check the logs.
    There may also be something in the WooCommerce logs: WooCommerce-> Status-> Logs, search in fatal-errors.

    Hi Grzegorz,

    Apparently, over the weekend, iThemes released a version update to address the below bug issue:

    7.2.1 – Bug Fix: Fatal error when running on a site with an unprefixed version of Pimple or Psr/Container that was loaded before iThemes Security.

    I am not sure as to how this specifically caused your plugins to experience the API errors and behave in what appeared to be against one another, but the iThemes patch has resulted in resolution to the API errors we were seeing in both your UPS and USPS plugins.

    with iThemes 7.2.1 your plugins are now working just fine.

    I love it when challenges just go and resolve themselves on their own… 🙂
