Uploads disappear

    Hello,
    When I upload images to my site they disappear. The address of where the image is supposed to be is correct in the media window, but the image does not show up on my blog and when I go back to the media browser there is no thumbnail associated with the file name. When I open my FTP software to view the contents of the folder the file is not there. Why would WordPress tell me it has uploaded correctly and then have it not be there?

    Has anyone else experienced this problem. It is getting pretty frustrating not being able to upload any pics or documents to my post.

    I went through the stickie post and tried everything mentioned, but I finally found the uploader was still saving the media files to a /test/ subdirectory I used before the site went live. However, the URL address in the media window did not show /test/ in the address for the file. Is there a way to redirect where the uploader saves files?
