# Uploading Widgets

 * I feel really dumb asking this one, but I’ve downloaded a number of new widgets
   to try out on my blog. I’ve extracted the files etc. I cannot figure out which
   file to upload them to. I’ve tried plugins, which is wrong. I can’t see a list
   of widgets in any folder for the blog.

 * Widgets are really just plugins – so you would upload to the wp-content/plugins
   folder then activate the plugin/widget, then in Appearance->Widget apply appropriately.
